Currently Solara enjoys a 80% oil to gas ratio on its current production. Good things take time- After completing a series of financing's in the fall of 2010 Solara embarked on a emerging light oil development play targeting the Cardium zone located in the Pembina (Buck Lake) area of Alberta. Solara drilled and completed its first well (9-45-5 W5M) on November 17th, 2010 resulting in an initial average production rate of 1,800 BOE/d. To date, Solara has been and will remain very active in this area as it exploits this prolific zone with numerous additional drilling targets in the months and years to come. Dewberry, Alberta resource asset has proven to be a very attractive multi-zone resource play with both oil & gas present. This project is comprised of 1,280 gross acres of land located in the South East area of the province adjacent to the Alberta/Saskatchewan border. Solara has identified over 4 targeted zones of Dina, Sparky, Rex and Cummings, of which current production from our preliminary drilling activity has resulting in +/-300 BOE/d. Solara has drilled 14 wells compromising of a 100% drilling success to date. With prior approval of down spacing on our lands, Solara has the potential to drill and complete in excess of 120 well targets.
