Stanley M. Davison, Chairman

Mr. Davison began his career at the Bank of Montreal in 1948 and over the ensuing 44 years rose through the organization to the position of Vice Chairman of the Bank and a director in 1981. While as Vice Chairman from 1981 to 1988 in Calgary, he served as governor of the Petroleum Club of Calgary, the Glenbow Museum and the Banff Centre. Mr. Davidson graduated from the Harvard Executive Management Program in 1981. Upon his retirement from the Bank of Montreal in 1992, he was elected to various directorships including the Fuji Bank of Canada, Fox Energy Corporation adn InterCity Gas Corporation. He served as a Commissioner with the British Columbia Securities Commission from 1992 to 1998. Mr. Davidson served as Chariman of the Britsh Columbia and Yukon Arthritis Society from 1992 to 2003, and continues to serve as a director of the Canadian Arthritis Society. Mr. Davidson was appointed to the Board of Directors of the Corporation on June 29, 2005, and subsequently appointed as Chairman.

John D. Boyd, P.Geoph.

Mr. Boyd graduated from the University of Toronto with a B.Sc. in Geophysics and joined Amoco to begin his career of 46 years in petroleum exploration and development. He has been based in Calgary for most of that time except for a five year posting to London, England. He established Boyd Exploration Consultants in 1977 which is now a full-service geophysical consulting company operating as Boyd PetroSearch. Mr. Boyd is a past president of the Canadian Society of Exploration Geophysicists and a former councilor of the Association of Professional Engineers, Geologists and Geophysicists of Alberta. He is also a past president of the Rotary Club of Calgary. Mr. Boyd brings a tremendous amount of exploration and business experience to the board of directors of Solara.

Alfred F. Fischer, P.Geol.

Alfred F. Fischer, Vice President, Exploration and Director, has over 30 years of experience in the oil and gas industry in Canada and internationally. Following graduation in Geology (B.Sc Honours) from the University of British Columbia, Mr. Fischer worked for Gulf Canada Resources Limited for 22 years where he assumed increasing levels of management including Manager of Reserve Additions, responsible for all exploration, exploitation and development operations throughout Western Canada. He served as the Manager of Frontiers from 1983 to 1988 for Gulf's exploration and development activities in the Mackenzie Delta, Beaufort Sea, Arctic Islands and East Coast. From 1988 to 1991, Mr. Fischer served as Manager, International Development, responsible for exploitation and production in Indonesia, Egypt and the Australian off-shore. In 1995, Mr. Fischer was appointed the Director for Mergers and Acquisitions and was involved in over $2.2 billion of corporate and property acquisitions and devestitures. After retiring from Gulf in 1995, Mr. Fischer formed his own consulting firm to continue mergers and acquisitions activities specializing in providing senior management and operating services to the petroleum industry. He acted as an executive management advisor to several companies and fulfilled the chief operating officer role on a contract basis. In 2003, Mr. Fischer assumed the contract role as Chief Executive Officer of a private Alberta oil and gas company. Mr. Fischer is a registered member of the Association of Professional Engineers, Geologists and Geophysicists of Alberta.

Donald R. Holding, B.Sc., B.Comm.

Donald R. Holding, President and Chief Executive Officer and Director of the Corporation has 26 years of experience in the oil and gas industry in Canada. After graduating from the University of Calgary in 1977 with a Bachelor of Science degree, and subsequently in 1980 with a Bachelor of Commerce degree, Mr. Holding began his career with Gulf Canada Resources Inc. in the Exploration Land Department where he worked for nine years. From August 1989 to 1992, he worked for Saskatchewan Oil and Gas Corporation (Saskoil) in Calgary. For the period of May 1992 to late 1993, Mr. Holding worked as a land management consultant. In December 1993, Mr. Holding undertook the formation of Fox Energy Corporation ("Fox") which completed its initial public offering on the Alberta Stock Exchange in August, 1994. Over the ensuing seven years, Fox grew to over 1,000 boe/d, and to 950 mbbls and 16 bcf in total proved plus probable reserves. Fox completed two corporate acquisitions and several oil and gas property acquisitions. In 2001, the board of directors of Fox retained a financial advisor to act as agent to solicit offers to sell all of the shares of Fox. The sale transaction was completed in February, 2002 following which, Mr. Holding organized Ty Energy Corporation in March, 2002. Ty Energy Corporation purchased minor producing gas properties in Alberta and was sold in July, 2002. In August, 2002, Mr. Holding organized the Corporation and has served as President, Chief Executive Officer and Director until present.
